Beauty and the Beast (Speed Sculpt)

I created this image with the intention of recording my sculpting process. After two hours I had finished the raw sculpture (with the exception of the hands.) I had intentionally rushed the sculpt to test myself and although the model lacked subtle nuance I was pleased with the crux of the sculpt. Unfortunately my screen recorder had an error and I lost the recording.

The idea behind the image is 'beauty and the beast.' Bulls are often perceived to be aggressive towards the colour red. In this instance the bull is tranquil at the sight of the rose. The human element of the design could imply a message that even the most aggressive or macho men are pacified by love.
